How to Attach the Version 2.0 Tank Connector to Fermentation Tank

  1. Remove the Valve Release Set from the Tank Connector.  This will close the valves until the Fermentation Hub is attached.
  2. Attach the end cap (or sample valve if you have one available) to the front plate of the Tank Connector using a  tri clamp and gasket
  3. Slide a gasket and the two inch spool over the in-tank tube, connect via tri clamp
  4. Connect the two sides of the Hanger by sliding the lower piece (two parallel legs) over the top piece (tri clamp weld). Screw in the thumb screw loosely.
  5. Make sure the tri clamp part of the top Hanger piece is facing away from the parallel legs of the bottom Hanger piece
  6. Screw the in-tank filter onto the end of the in-tank pipe
  7. Slide a gasket over the in-tank pipe of the Tank Connector
  8. Mount the entire Tank Connector Assembly onto your Fermentation Tank by inserting the in-tank pipe into your tank, and using the tri clamp on the Hanger as the primary clamp
  9. Proceed with the tank’s normal SIP.
