How to Connect the Fermentation Hub to Wi-Fi [w/ Video]
Requirements
- Wi-Fi enabled computer, tablet, or smartphone
- Your company's Wi-Fi network and password (Network must be 2.4G. The SensorHub cannot connect to 5G networks)
- Wi-Fi Port 8883 needs to be open and available
- A power outlet
Setting up Wi-Fi
- Plug in the Fermentation Hub (formerly SensorHub) to a power outlet
- The LED light surrounding the button on the front of the Fermentation Hub will illuminate red. Hold down the button for 3-5 seconds, until the light turns yellow and starts to blink. - When prompted for a password, input brewmaster (case-sensitive)
- If the Wi-Fi access point does not appear in the menu:
- Exit your wireless network menu, then reload it again. Wait for 5-10 seconds and it should pop up
- Ensure the LED light is blinking yellow. If it is not, please go back to step 1.1 above

- Select your company’s Wi-Fi network from the Select Network Name (SSID) drop-down. Enter the Wi-Fi password.
- If the Wi-Fi network is hidden, select ‘Other’ from the SSID drop-down and enter the Wi-Fi network name.
