How to Install Filter Upgrade for BrewIQ Cleaning Buckets

How to Install Filter Upgrade for BrewIQ Cleaning Buckets

In our continuing effort to make BrewIQ Fermentation Hub cleaning easy and trouble-free, we now require a filter in each of the three (3) cleaning buckets to reduce the chances of debris in the buckets being circulated into the BrewIQ Fermentation Hub and fouling the pumps. The upgrade is expected to take 5 minutes.

Materials Required

  1. (1) Rinse Bucket
  2. (1) Clean Bucket
  3. (1) Sanitize Bucket
  4. Materials from shipment by Precision Fermentation
    1. (3) Filters and Tubes (connected with an adapter and clamp)
    2. (3) Additional clamps

Installation of Filters for BrewIQ Cleaning Buckets

1. Place the RINSE, CLEAN, and SANITIZE buckets in front of you
2. Identify the port on the bucket that flows OUT of the bucket and INTO the Hub.
3. On the inside of the bucket, push the open end of the tube+filter onto the barbed end of the fitting on the port you identified in Step 2. Push the tube+filter on as far as possible but with at least 3/4" (2cm) of overlap.
4. Open the clamp, and place it over the tube and barbed fitting. Squeeze the clamp to secure it.
