Starting a SaniStation Run
Station Setup
Check the reagent bottles (inside the right door) and ensure there is at least 250ml of reagent in each.
If needed, fill
the bottle with the reagent that matches its label.
If removing the bottle from the SaniStation is required to fill, twist off the caps connected to the unit and replace them with the Transfer Caps.
Once filled, twist off the Transfer Caps and reconnect the Reagent Bottles to the SaniStation.
The Black valve is connected to the Cleaner bottle.
The white valve is connected to the Sanitizer bottle.
For Fermentation Hubs with Filters only:
- Clean the Filter by unscrewing the filter housing from the filter cap. Dump any liquid and thoroughly rinse the housing and filter element.
- Check the top of the filter housing and ensure it is clean of debris.
- Reattach the cleaned filter housing and element, ensuring the orange gasket is in place.
- Place the Fermentation Hub on the top of the SaniStation with the front of the hub facing to the right.
- Plug the Fermentation Hub into the power outlet.
- Connect the Fermentation Hubs to the SaniStation.
For Fermentation Hubs with metal quick connect valves (1.5 version):
- Connect each the quick connect valve set from the SaniStation to each of the Hubs.
- Connect any SaniStation valve sets that don't have Hubs connected together.
For Fermentation Hubs with plastic push-connect valves (2.0 version):
- Connect the vinyl tubing into the sample port and ensure the port is open.
- Attach the push connect valves, following the arrows, and ensure the valves to the SaniStation and the Hub are open.
- Ensure any valves on the SaniStation without Hubs are closed.
Begin Automated Cleaning Cycle
- Log in to the BrewMonitor Console
- Navigate to the Devices page in the left-hand column menu of the Console.
- Click on the green CLEANING MANAGER button.
- Click Start New Cleaning
- Select your SaniStation and the Fermentation Hubs you are cleaning.
- Confirm those Fermentation Hubs are properly connected in the Dashboard.
- Confirm that all valves are OPEN and all the valves not connected to a Fermentation Hub are CLOSED
