How to Set a Benchmark

How to Set a Benchmark

Note: Benchmarks are an extremely useful feature in the BrewIQ Customer Dashboard.  They enable you to use Dynamic Alerts, which will change the alert range over the course of fermentation based on the readings from the Benchmark fermentation.  They also allow you to declare your "perfect" fermentation for each brand, and compare your current fermentations to your "ideal" fermentation right there on the Fermentation Information page.  For instructions on how to set Dynamic Alerts, please see the How to Set Alerts article.
